I"ve used a smartboard in the classroom.It enhances the teaching/learning experience. For those children that need visual it is a huge assist. When you have inter-active programs all children enjoy, participate and retain the information. It can really make learning fun.

technology in school
I do not use technology with my students, however, I am interested in learning about flipped learning. The only thing I do with technology is writing report cards and corresponding with parents on the computer. I look up information and get ideas for lessons, as well.
My Tech Experience in the Classroom
My experience using tech in the class include
animoto, puppet pals, smartboards, ipads
Not much! Therefore I am excited about this class!

using shetchup in the class
We are learning משניות סכה in class the boys create there own cases using sketchup. We will be compiling own very own סםר at the end of the course. it is awesome and the boys really enjoy it.
using tech
we use the smartboard in class usually its awesome we use it to preview and review the lesson at times we need to improvise when the smartboard decides not to cooperate.
For mishna we are using sketchup a 3-d tool that the kids love to create their own sukkot in 3-d. At times its awesome and at other times it teaches the kids that their creations take time and may not work.
tec in class
I am constantly using the computer/smartboard for ppt, videos, songs, review games etc.
I don't work in the classroom but...
I work at the Jewish Education Project and I'm working on redesigning our website. I'm very interested to hear how Jewish educators are using technology in their classrooms.
